For us mixing is creative process, collaboration with band, where we put our heads together and work as a team to come with a solution: blend of distortion, FX and clean tracks… a perfect mix.
About us
We mostly record and mix heavy hitting rock/ garage/ punk/ alternative bands but also enjoy creating weird, lush and beautiful soundscapes. To achieve this we use hybrid mixing approach: “old school” british analog console for color, summing and saturation, few cool analog reverb/delay boxes for space and “weirdness” and state of the art “Harrison Mixbus 32C” digital audio workstation for digital precision and audio manipulation.
Our staff have lot´s of experience in recording and mixing bands but also audio post production for documentary, radio and TV commercials and recording voice overs for big name studios like Disney, Pixar and Sony.
Pod.room studio runs on Linux and supports free and open source developers.
